Responsibilities
Support the design, analysis, and safety development of Hadron’s micro modular reactor
Work closely with our cross-functional team—including mechanical, electrical, and regulatory engineers
Engage in both core reactor physics and balance-of-plant engineering
Participate in hands-on design and innovation in a fast-paced startup environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Nuclear Engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience in reactor core and neutronics design
Experience with Monte Carlo and deterministic simulation tools
Proficiency in MCNP, Serpent, CASMO, SCALE, or PARCS for reactor physics analysis
Strong understanding of thermal-hydraulics and heat transfer
Knowledge of nuclear safety analysis and regulatory frameworks
Experience with instrumentation and controls (I&C) and radiation monitoring systems
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
Passion for clean energy and a startup-minded approach to problem-solving
Preferred
Familiarity with NRC licensing or DOE engagement is a plus
