Payroll, Technology & Compliance Manager

The Payroll, Technology & Compliance Manager will oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with payroll regulations, and manage payroll staff to support the organization’s operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee weekly payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
Review and approve payroll calculations including wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
Ensure accurate time entry, labor allocation, job costing, and payroll inputs
Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, pay changes, and benefit adjustments
Ensure proper handling of garnishments, tax levies, and mandatory deductions
Resolve complex payroll discrepancies and system issues
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Prepare, file, and remit all required payroll tax filings and payments
Maintain compliance with prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements
Serve as payroll system owner and CMiC subject matter expert
Manage, train, and develop payroll staff
