Responsibilities
Assemble and test electronic circuits (analog, digital, and video-based)
Identify and fix malfunctions in electronic systems
Perform advanced electrical diagnostics on components and subassemblies
Mentor and guide junior technicians, checking their work for quality
Find alternative components for obsolete parts
Use soldering skills to repair and modify circuits
Assemble and test prototype electronics and systems (analog, digital, video, logic)
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix issues down to the component level
Use tools like oscilloscopes, signal generators, and test software to validate performance
Help build and check out custom test setups and experimental equipment
Collaborate with engineers and other techs to improve designs and solve technical problems
Mentor junior technicians and perform quality checks before final testing
Qualification
Required
2-year degree in Electronics Technology
Strong hands-on skills with electrical and mechanical assembly
Experience reading schematics and circuit diagrams
Advanced troubleshooting and soldering (through-hole and surface-mount)
Ability to find replacement components for outdated parts
Comfortable working with minimal instruction and taking initiative
Clear communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
7–10 years of relevant experience
Preferred
4-year degree
