Responsibilities

Lead product development of major product areas through all phases of product development including heavy focus on both product discovery and delivery

Assist in determining the strategic direction and development of Zywave’s product portfolio

Create high performance product development teams with continuous coaching and mentoring

Ensure teams understand the product strategy and their mission and objectives to help achieve it

Collaborate with other directors to balance the needs of the entire product portfolio

Continuously evaluate need for process or other team improvements via integrative retrospection

Performance management of direct and indirect reports, with the intent to develop top talent in house

Determine team structure to optimize productivity and execute hiring decisions

Confidence to leverage intuition to translate the unknown opportunity into an actionable plan

Excellent communication skills and experience working effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams

Comfortable with short/real-time planning, and ability to maintain a consistent focus on short-term tactics and long-term goals

A minimum of 5 years of managing SaaS software teams in a heavily iterative and agile environment

Bachelor's degree in computer science

Confirmed passion for continuous learning, teaching and improvement
