Responsibilities

Responsible for assigned manufacturing processes

Review process controls, emphasize continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing methodology

Participate in the development of cell layouts, set up reduction (SMED), lead time reduction and improve productivity through waste reduction

Achieve product target cost, improved efficiency and identifying possible production problems for existing products within their scope of accountability

Required

Bachelor's Degree – Someone with an IE degree with relevant experience as a process engineer will also be considered. Chemical Engineers are not a good fit

Process improvement experience (efficiency, waste reduction, scrap reduction, etc)

Automotive Manufacturing industry engineering experience

AIAG core tools (such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA)

Stable work history is needed
