Legal Operations Professional

Epiroc is a global productivity partner for mining and construction customers, seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Operations Professional to enhance the efficiency and strategic value of their legal department. The role involves managing entity governance, contract lifecycle processes, and outside counsel engagement, while also driving legal technology implementation and process improvements.

Responsibilities

Support corporate entity governance and maintenance across jurisdictions, including business licenses, board resolutions, and finding ways to perform such duties efficiently through systems and tools
Oversee contract lifecycle processes, including SharePoint site enhancement, template management, tracking, and renewals
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely contract execution and compliance
Administer outside counsel engagement processes, billing guidelines, manage billing process, and facilitating payment process
Monitor legal spend, analyze invoices, and identify cost-saving opportunities
Manage law firm matter budget review process and alternative fee arrangements
Maintain vendor relationships and performance metrics
Manage, identify and implement legal tech tools to drive efficiencies in performance of duties above (e.g., e-billing, matter management, CLM systems)
Drive and champion digitization initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes
Collaborate cross functionally to ensure system optimization and adoption
Improve data integrity and analytical reporting capacity
Identify and implement process improvements across legal operations
Develop and maintain dashboards to track legal department KPIs and performance
Generate reports on legal spend, contract turnaround times, and operational efficiency
Provide insights to leadership to support strategic decision-making
Implement effective change management programs and procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree required; legal, business, or technology-related field preferred
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in legal operations, corporate legal departments, or law firms
Familiarity with legal billing systems, CLM platforms, and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI)
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience with entity management platforms, e-billing platforms, and contract databases
Knowledge of legal operations frameworks (e.g., CLOC, Legalops.com, ACC Legalops Core Competencies)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate)
