Power/Electrical Engineering Intern
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories is seeking a professional, innovative, and detail-oriented individual for their Power/Electrical Engineering Intern position in Boise, Idaho. The role involves providing technical support, performing testing on technology, and documenting test results.

Responsibilities
Provide technical support to SEL staff & customers
Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and technologies
Perform testing on new and existing technology
Document and communicate test results
Qualification
Required
Two to three years undergraduate studies in electrical engineering, with an emphasis in power systems
Ability and willingness to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Preferred
Practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems
Basic understanding of signals and systems
Working knowledge of modern test equipment (e.g. power supplies, digital oscilloscopes)
Practical knowledge of SEL protective relays & automation controllers
