Responsibilities

Perform general ledger (GL) account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and maintenance of operational management GL accounts
Maintain and update records and reports related to profit and loss (P&L), liabilities, and fixed assets (FA)
Prepare special financial reports as requested by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing activities to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation
Manage credit card entry and payment processing to reconcile transactions and maintain compliance with company policies
Provide support to the Controller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for all tax and audit compliance requirements, including gathering necessary documentation and assisting with audit inquiries
Daily Cash internal reporting and treasury duties: including but not limited to: posting deposits, positive pay upload to bank portal, ACH and Wire transactions utilizing banking software
Responsible for all Check Request processing for the company and occasional Accounts payable support for the accounting team
Special projects and other duties as assigned based on operational needs

Required

3+ years of professional accounting experience
Proficient knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to focus and work effectively
Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and client information
Desire for professional growth with exceptional customer service, communication, and collaboration skills
Adaptability to changing priorities, approaches, and deadlines

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance
Knowledge of GAAP
Microsoft Excel Intermediate to Advanced level skillset
