Responsibilities
Conducting fiscal monitoring reviews of MDHS awarded Subgrant agreement to ensure financial and programmatic compliance/requirements
Assist with preparing reports
Conducting field work
Present findings of reviews to supervisor
Examine financial records and related documents to determine compliance with grant requirements and applicable State, Federal and agency guidelines/regulations
Prepare detailed financial reports to support reviews
Identify and assess risks and opportunities related to potential transactions
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign and Smartsheet
Attention to detail, ability to prioritize workload, effective communication and time management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
The ability and desire to be a self-starter and follow through with assigned tasks within established timeframes with a minimum amount of supervision
Understand generally accepted auditing standards, theory and practices
Strong analytical skills, ability to prioritize and attention to detail
Preferred
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 0-2 years of experience
A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
