Responsibilities

Identify tooling requirements to support throughput expansion and manufacturing improvement projects

Coordinate sourcing and procurement of new or upgraded tooling solutions

Manage tooling installation activities and ensure compliance with design and manufacturing specifications

Collaborate with design engineers and onsite teams to validate tooling performance and functionality

Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of tooling systems

Ensure tooling projects are delivered on time and aligned with production needs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field

10+ years of experience in tooling design, sourcing, and implementation within automotive or heavy-vehicle manufacturing environments

Strong understanding of tooling systems, manufacturing processes, and production support

Proven experience coordinating with vendors and external suppliers

Strong problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills

Preferred

Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations

Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling and production efficiency
