Responsibilities
Lead VA/VE initiatives to reduce manufacturing cost while improving product functionality and value
Develop, implement, and maintain work measurement standards for manufacturing and assembly operations
Perform motion studies and line balancing to establish stable operations and optimized labor utilization
Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to identify and implement efficiency improvements
Lead process improvement, facility transformation, and technology transfer projects
Validate production layouts for ergonomics, safety, throughput, and operational effectiveness
Deploy and standardize client tools, methodologies, and best practices across operations
Utilize Standards Pro and LeanLine (or equivalent tools) for motion standards development and line balancing
Apply MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique) to accurately calculate labor requirements and establish standard times
Document processes, develop procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required)
MOST Certification (required) with demonstrated, hands-on experience determining labor standards using MOST
Proficiency with Standards Pro, LeanLine, or comparable motion study and line balancing software
Strong understanding of work measurement techniques and core industrial engineering principles
Proven experience leading VA/VE, cost reduction, and process optimization initiatives
Working knowledge of ergonomics, safety standards, and lean manufacturing practices
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and support facility transformation efforts
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Strong communication and collaboration capabilities
