Sr. Project Architect
A&E Design is an integrated design firm seeking a Sr. Project Architect to join their team of innovators in Montana. The role involves overseeing commercial project logistics, ensuring project delivery within budget and timeline while maintaining client satisfaction.
Design
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary consultant liaison and a secondary client liaison to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction
Provide overall project design and development process to ensure that construction documents conform with A&E Design's agreement with the client
Provide technical expertise to generate documents for projects ranging in size and scope
Ensure quality control on all deliverables
May estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts for principal review
Understands the fundamental relationships and contractual obligations between the designer, consultants, owner and contractors
Represent A&E Design in all client communications at regular intervals between all stages of the agreement and post-agreement activities
Execute client agreements with defined scope and schedule, educating clients about the defined terms
Schedule, attend, and record all meetings with clients, project team members, and stakeholder groups
Maintain constant updates related to project completion, including schedule and billing milestones
Strive to innovate, learn, and improve, never settling for the status quo
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in architecture, master's degree preferred
Architectural licensure (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of design experience
Passion for design and architecture, possessing an outstanding ability to communicate complex design ideas to audiences with varying degrees of design knowledge
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and Newforma
Minimum 3 years of experience guiding architecture and design projects with a clear understanding of client needs and proven ability to execute a project scope within budget and timeline restrictions
Take ownership of responsibilities and results, demonstrating reliability, follow-through, and integrity in day-to-day work and your team
Strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate with clients, project teams, department supervisors, and firm executives
Ability to remain positive, nimble, and flexible while working within a creative team environment
Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, or possess a work visa to legally work in the U.S
Preferred
Architectural licensure (preferred)
Familiarity with PSMJ project management practices a plus!
