Inside Sales Representative
Averro is a Veteran-Owned organization dedicated to delivering innovative talent solutions, business consulting, and technology services. They are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to respond to customer inquiries, identify sales opportunities, and collaborate with the sales team to grow revenue.
Responsibilities
Respond to incoming emails, calls, and customer inquiries—this is the largest portion of daily activity
Identify sales opportunities from existing customers, including engaging with customer portals and responding to RFQs that indicate additional buying needs
Collaborate with the sales team and Business Unit Managers (BUM) to develop strategies to grow revenue
Provide accurate quotes for products and services, enter orders, and maintain up-to-date sales and customer records
Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay current on product offerings and sales techniques
Actively contribute ideas for process improvements and cost savings
Represent the company professionally with customers, vendors, and colleagues, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is ideal
Candidates with other technical STEM degrees, Associate's degrees in technical fields (electronics, mechanical, etc.), or military technical training are also considered
Minimum 1–2 years in a technical hardware inside sales or technical customer service role
Required experience in regulated industries such as aerospace, medical devices, nuclear, automotive, or rail is ideal
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable navigating technical systems
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
20% travel for sales meetings
