CoralTree Hospitality is seeking a PM Bartender for The Magnolia Houston Hotel, where you will use your mixologist talent to prepare and serve beverages to guests. The role involves ensuring compliance with policies while creating a fun and positive environment for guests.

Responsibilities

Embrace service with a story through creating and serving both distinctive and traditional alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests

Share your personal passions and knowledge of the food, services and amenities available to guests to help them feel at home

Orchestrate an extraordinary guest experience by providing a fun and positive environment

Be an advocate of our menu offering, receive food orders at the bar, and ensure accuracy before guest delivery

Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks. Mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control

Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet

Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality

Receives cash from guests, makes any change needed, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys

Locks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank

Performs general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by your supervisor to adhere to health standards

Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to supervisor

Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules

All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. (Specific standards outlined in team member handbook)

Required

Two years previous experience providing customer service preferably in a similar setting with a working knowledge of Spirits, Wine, Beer and Food service

Must be able to work varied shifts, including Weekday Evenings, weekends and holidays

Must be able to deliver a fun and friendly environment during each guest exchange

Must be able to work within an empowered and fast paced environment that services the bar and servers within the restaurant

Food Handlers Certification, State specific alcohol certification and/or TIPs certification required

A qualified applicant is a people person who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy

Must be 18 years or older
