Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain analytical and predictive models that support decision-making across marketing, operations, and finance
Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to model customer behavior, lifetime value, e-commerce subscription retention, demand, and operational performance
Evaluate model performance, stability, and relevance over time, making improvements as business conditions and data evolve
Support advanced measurement efforts such as lifetime value modeling, forecasting, attribution analysis, and marketing mix modeling in partnership with the CDAO
Analyze key business drivers and relationships to help leaders understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what is likely to happen next
Provide scenario analysis and forward-looking insights that reduce uncertainty and inform strategic decisions
Develop models intended for ongoing, repeatable use rather than one-off analysis
Partner with Data Engineering to align model inputs, outputs, and dependencies with platform standards and reliability expectations
Ensure model outputs can be consumed consistently through BI tools, dashboards, and downstream decision workflows
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable narratives for non-technical stakeholders
Work closely with BI Analysts to integrate model outputs into reporting, monitoring, and ongoing performance tracking
Partner with functional leaders to frame analytical questions and ensure outputs align with real business needs
Document modeling logic, assumptions, methodologies, and limitations to support transparency and long-term reuse
Contribute to shared analytical standards and best practices across the Business Intelligence and Analytics organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
4+ years of experience in a data science, advanced analytics, or applied modeling role supporting real business decision-making
Experience working in data-driven ecommerce environments, with required exposure to subscription or recurring revenue business models, including customer lifecycle, retention, and lifetime value dynamics
Demonstrated experience building, maintaining, and iterating on predictive or analytical models used beyond one-off analysis
Proven ability to partner closely with business stakeholders to translate ambiguous questions into well-scoped analytical work
Experience collaborating with Data Engineers and BI Analysts to operationalize models within a broader analytics ecosystem
Track record of delivering analytical work that influenced decisions related to growth, efficiency, or profitability
Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
Solid foundation in statistics, including regression, classification, time series analysis, and model evaluation techniques
Experience applying machine learning methods where appropriate, with an emphasis on interpretability, stability, and business usefulness
Working knowledge of SQL sufficient to explore, validate, and reason about analytics-ready datasets
Ability to evaluate data quality, identify edge cases, and understand how data limitations affect model outputs
Strong analytical judgment, including the ability to choose appropriate methods, avoid overfitting, and communicate uncertainty clearly
Ability to explain complex analytical concepts and results in plain language to non-technical audiences

Preferred

Advanced coursework or graduate-level education in applied statistics, analytics, data science, economics, or a related field
Formal training in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, or machine learning
