Responsibilities
Prepare and record journal entries related to cash transactions, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balances across multiple accounts
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
Manage regulatory reporting requirements related to cash flow and financial disclosures
Support audit processes through detailed documentation and reconciliation activities
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Excel, or similar platforms for daily operations
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using double entry bookkeeping principles
Contribute to process improvements in cash management and internal controls
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
0–2 years of accounting experience, including internships or entry-level roles, in a cash-handling environment
Basic to intermediate proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Foundational understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, debits and credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting
Exposure to bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and cash transaction processing
Familiarity with financial statements, cash flow concepts, and basic financial analysis
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to learn, take direction, and work collaboratively within a finance team
