Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and negotiate vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Includes drafting contractual language, reviewing, negotiating, and responding to proposed vendor contractual deviations
Collaborate with various Moog functional disciplines on contract requirements, e.g., trade compliance, VAT, duties, Incoterms, cyber security, FAR, DFARS, and other relevant areas
Consult with internal and external legal counsel and/or contracts team on contract-related matters
Maintain accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and associated supplier communications
Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor contracts
Identify opportunities to optimize the contract management lifecycle process and implement procedure changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Manage requisitions, lead new sourcing and supplier selection, related new supplier set up, and purchase order creation, issuance, and amendments to ensure timely delivery, compliance, and cost control

Required

A minimum of 5 years of relevant contracts experience in procurement, supply chain, or contracts management, preferably within a large, complex organization
Experience drafting contractual language, reviewing, negotiating, and responding to proposed vendor contractual deviations is preferred
Experience consulting with internal and external legal counsel and/or contracts team on contractual terms and conditions
Demonstrated ability to craft creative solutions to unique business problems in a collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders
Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support in daily activities, and the development of knowledge and skills in support of talent development
Proven capability in working collaboratively within a multicultural, geographically dispersed environment
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related technical discipline

Preferred

Experience drafting contractual language, reviewing, negotiating, and responding to proposed vendor contractual deviations is preferred
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, or a Juris Doctor (JD) is a plus
