Senior Facilities Engineer - Australia
Boeing Aerospace Operations is looking for a Facilities Engineer to join their team. This role will lead facility operations, focusing on high-reliability and implementing industry-leading methodologies and technologies for facility infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical and mechanical equipment, facilities, components, or systems for data center operations
Responsible for providing organizational leadership and technical oversight to facility operations and maintenance teams
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by coordinating installation, construction, maintenance, documentation, support/testing activities
Engaged in final commissioning of facility to ensure required capabilities to meet customer requirements
Responsible for maintaining facility electrical and mechanical infrastructure in a newly constructed data center
Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies
Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects
Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by coordinating installation, construction, maintenance, documentation, support/testing activities
Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies
Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials
Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation
Working with a variety of technicians
Accountable for maintaining budget, identifying, justifying and implementing capital expenditures
Qualification
Required
3+ years' experience as an engineer in operation and/or maintenance
Proven leader of Facility O&M teams
Ability to obtain a Top Secret/ SCI with Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) polygraph pre-start
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position
Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country
Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
Employment is contingent on the candidate's ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country
Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. 'U.S. Person' includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph Pre-Start is required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience working with U.S. Government customer
Uptime Institute Certification
Active and Adjudicated TS/SCI with Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) polygraph
