Responsibilities
Good driving record with valid driver's license, Drug Free and passing background check
Friendly, personable, yet professional demeanor when meeting clients and property owners
Possess good communication skills
Self-motivated and detail oriented to maintain work schedule while alone
Able to follow directions, work from checklists and perform a self-review of work
Must be able to work under short deadlines
Analyze surveys, right of way maps site plans, construction drawings, and subdivisions
Conduct research at county buildings for deeds, plats and corner records
Collect survey data, take photos and create detailed and legible field notes
Physically capable of carrying equipment, brushing line, opening manholes and working outdoors
Basic Computer use for uploading photos, field notes and data files daily
Qualification
Required
Candidates should be self-motivated and possess strong decision making skills while able to work with others
Candidate should be self-disciplined as the position is primarily working as a 'one-man crew,' but will at times be working with multiple crews on larger projects
Extensive knowledge of Trimble Access, Trimble robotic and GPS
Good communication skills and ability to stay in contact with office and other field crews are essential as well as with clients and property owners
Ability to review and understand civil construction and architectural plans and perform basic calculations with a data collector
Responsible for keeping vehicle, equipment and supplies clean and maintained
Good driving record with valid driver's license, Drug Free and passing background check
