Finance and Operations Manager (OR)
Northwest Prevention Science Inc. is dedicated to providing accessible mental health interventions for families. They are seeking a Finance and Operations Manager to manage accounting activities, oversee operational policies, and ensure compliance with grant funding, all while supporting the organization's growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Manage all accounting activities for the company, including vendor bill processing and payment and client billing and collections
Manage NPS grant accounting, documentation and reporting to ensure compliance, proper tracking and utilization of funds
Coordinate with grants financial manager regarding grant budgets and accounting
Drive fieldwork efforts for grant compliance audit of 2025 expenditures
Manage employee payroll and related activities
Prepare and present financial reports monthly and quarterly
Develop and manage an operations budget that supports the company's scaling efforts
Ensure effective allocation of resources to meet the growing demands of the business
Identify and address potential areas of cost savings and improved organizational efficiency
Use reports and overall revenue tracking to develop recommendations for organization practices and growth: e.g., revising fees annually, plan timing for hiring new staff
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Oversee HR processes and practices, including hiring and benefits management
Design and oversee projects to enhance our infrastructure, support growth, and support large-scale implementation of the Family Check-Up model
Assist with development of structure for new material dissemination, fees, and invoicing
Consult with experienced financial professionals to support accounting activities
Collaborate and coordinate with other study staff as needed
Collaborate and coordinate with other NPS staff as needed regarding client services and various projects
Manage and complete tasks independently
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience with accounting, financial forecasting and reporting, and budgeting
Experience with project coordination
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Ability to self-motivate and work independently
Experience working successfully as part of a collaborative team
Open to feedback and engagement in continuous quality improvement
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft 365 apps
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required
Preferred
Experience with federal grants
