Responsibilities

Design and implement high-performance, fault-tolerant systems for real-time data and transaction workflows
Influence architecture and optimize throughput across data access and API platforms
Own the full SDLC: technical design, implementation, testing, automation, deployment, and performance tuning
Partner with product, engineering, and enterprise clients to deliver impactful solutions
Leverage distributed computing, event-driven architectures, and real-time analytics

Required

4+ years of industry experience with C++
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design
Experience designing and operating high-throughput distributed systems or APIs
Ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced, agile environment

Preferred

Experience with trading systems, order/execution workflows, or real-time data platforms
Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ)
Contributions to large-scale distributed computing platforms
Experience with REST, WebSockets, and real-time event processing
A bias for building platforms and tools that empower other engineers
