Responsibilities
Import and collect on credit card past dues
Collect on Overdraft Protection Loans
Repossess collateral as needed and complete all required correspondence
Prepare, follow-up and maintain life and disability claims
Monitor loans of deceased borrowers to protect the Bank’s interest
Maintain and inspect OREO and foreclosure properties and show to interested buyers
Perform required FMAC inspections as needed
Respond to credit bureau disputes and maintain documentation
File and maintain department records
Prepare a monthly regional delinquency report
Image and maintain department records
Comply and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulations that apply to position
Balance the Asset Recovery Checking account monthly
Process returned checks for loan payments
Prepare files to be sent to the attorney for foreclosure, repossession, bankruptcy and other legal matters
Identify deceased customers and work through the process of updating our core system and work with attorneys to protect the Bank’s interest
Qualification
Required
associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experienced in supervision
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
