Client Operations Analyst (contract)

The Client Operations Analyst role supports end investors by responding to inquiries related to asset movement processes and documentation while delivering accurate service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

End Client Support: Respond to voicemail and email inquiries from end investors regarding account documentation, statements, and tax-related requests
Document & Data Processing: Retrieve and distribute historical statements and tax documents; perform data entry, document tracking, and account notation
High-Volume Case Handling: Manage 100–300 daily client requests during peak periods, including tax season, while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
Voicemail & Mail Processing: Pull and document voicemails, record request details, prepare and send mailings, and track completion dates
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments across BNY to resolve inquiries and complete requests efficiently
Process Support & Knowledge Sharing: Assist with team workflows and, as proficiency increases, help support or train other team members

Required

Associate's degree or higher
1–3 years of experience in operations, financial services, or a client support environment
Strong multitasking ability in a high-volume setting
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Client-focused mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Comfortable working overtime during peak periods when required

Preferred

Experience in financial services or operations
Prior client-facing experience (phone and email support)
Bilingual skills, preferably Spanish
Experience supporting asset movement, statements, or tax documentation requests
