Responsibilities

Assist in the development, coordination, implementation and delivery of new hire orientation and continuing educational needs and activities of all IV Auth staff members to achieve a high level of both quality and efficiency
Conduct needs assessments and performance improvement activities
Determine and maintain educational processes to achieve increasingly effective and efficient performance and quality
Ensure training aids, online educational resources, manuals, and payer updates are maintained and functional
Coordinate logistics and record keeping of training activities
Assist with policy development, standardized education and maintenance of current changes and modifications

Qualification

Prior AuthorizationsAutomated information systemsData entryTraining experienceCoaching

Required

Three (3) years of experience in Prior Authorizations and/or Referrals working with automated information systems and computer software applications including data entry and retrieval
One (1) year of experience in a lead, trainer, and/or coaching position

Preferred

One (1) year of experience in Pre-Service
