Responsibilities

Lead Sales Strategy and Execution – Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for driving software adoption among RIAs, identifying key growth opportunities, and maximizing revenue generation within the RIA market segment
Build and Maintain Client Relationships – Establish and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing RIA clients. Collaborate with key decision-makers to understand their unique business needs and align the software solution to drive their success
Drive New Business Development – Identify and prospect new RIA clients, developing a robust pipeline of sales opportunities. Leverage market insights, networking, and sales outreach to generate leads and convert them into long-term customers
Lead Sales Team Performance – Mentor and lead a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals, tracking progress, and ensuring they have the tools and support necessary to meet and exceed sales targets
Sales Enablement and Training – Equip the sales team with the knowledge, resources, and training needed to effectively communicate the value proposition of the software to RIAs. Foster a deep understanding of the platform’s unique features and benefits to drive successful client engagement and closing
Manage Sales Forecasting and Reporting – Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking. Provide regular reporting on sales metrics, account growth, and revenue trends to executive leadership, ensuring visibility and alignment with business goals
Collaborate with Product and Marketing Teams – Work closely with product and marketing teams to ensure the software’s features meet the evolving needs of RIAs. Provide valuable feedback to improve offerings and create targeted sales campaigns that resonate with prospects
Enhance Client Retention and Upsell Opportunities – Implement strategies to ensure high client retention rates and identify opportunities for upselling or expanding product usage within existing accounts. Proactively address client concerns to maximize satisfaction and lifetime value
Travel and Industry Engagement – Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build brand awareness, generate new business, and deepen relationships with key RIA firms. Travel as necessary to engage directly with clients and prospects

Required

5+ years of experience in sales within wealth management, RIA firms, or fintech
Bachelor's degree
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
Self-driven with a collaborative approach to work
Willingness to adapt to new technologies and workflows
Ability to travel 3-5 times a year to meet with advisory firms
Must be available to work in person at our Midtown Manhattan office, alongside the leadership team, 5 days a week

Strong problem-solving and curiosity skills, with the ability to streamline processes
Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple accounts
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate across teams
A solid understanding of the wealth management industry, RIA business models, and technology platforms
