They are seeking a Software Quality Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in software quality engineering by contributing to the development, testing, and stabilization of internal quality tools.

Responsibilities
Support the development, testing and stabilization of our internal quality tools
Assist in writing, executing and automating test cases to validate functionality
Collaborate with the team to identify, document and resolve bugs
Contribute to code reviews and provide feedback on quality improvements
Help enhance documentation, test reports and quality metrics related to the tool
Participate in Q&E group meeting and provide detail updates
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field
Strong foundation in programming languages (ie Java spring boot, my SQL, react Python, C++)
Familiarity with software testing methodologies (ie unit, modular, integration, regression, etc.)
Analytical mindset with good problem solving and debugging skills
Familiarity with automation frameworks or quality tools (ie SonarQube, etc.) is a plus
Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work
Can learn and apply new information or skills
Must be able to read and interpret data, information and documents
Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads
Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability
Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements
Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision
Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional communication
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and customer
Work according to a strict set of procedures within the provided timelines
