Responsibilities
Assume a key role in the firm’s growing Carolinas design teams
Work on Transportation projects in North Carolina
Design and plan development for transportation projects
Mentor/train entry-level staff
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6+ years of Roadway Design experience with emphasis on corridor modeling
Must have experience with NCDOT plan production and calculation of quantities
Broad plan experience with TMP, Drainage, PMP, and Signing is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have passed the PE Exam or have passed the FE with the ability to become a licensed PE within 6-12 months
Must possess the ability to mentor / train entry level staff for which will offer support
Technical proficiency must be exhibited in most MicroStation / GEOPAK w/ corridor modeling experience
Preferred
Technical proficiency preferred in Open Roads Designer (ORD)
The ideal candidate should be technically sound, and have a passion for outstanding client service
