Responsibilities
Play the lead role in the design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clients
Collaborate with other groups/ disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients
Perform include design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation
Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications for projects
Assist with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunities
Oversee the work of EITs or Technicians
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
4-7 years of experience in Transportation / Municipal engineering or related field
PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six months
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Functional understanding of design software packages, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD
Ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents
Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position
Ability to work 40 hours a week
Ability to work in the posted locations
Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
