Responsibilities

Must have training with one or more of the following:

Digital Signal Processing (DSP)

RF Circuit Design

Analog Circuit Design

Digital Electronics Design

FPGA Design

Algorithm Development (Pattern Recognition and Object Tracking)

LabVIEW Automated Test Stand Design

Requires strong oral/written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Advanced troubleshooting skills required

Will be required to work independently and with interdepartmental teams

Will be required to assist in the design and development of electronic systems

Will be required to write or assist in developing test plans and test procedures

Will be required to assist in the automation of relevant test procedures and/or design and development of test fixtures

Will be required to assist in lab and field tests of electronic systems

Familiarity with AS9100 is desirable

Required

Knowledge of analog circuit design, digital electronics design, and digital signal processing (DSP)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic circuits and systems design, integration, and testing

Experience using standard laboratory test and measurement equipment

Familiarity with one or more of the following tools and languages: OrCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and/or VHDL

Requires strong oral/written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Advanced troubleshooting skills required

Will be required to work independently and with interdepartmental teams

Will be required to assist in the design and development of electronic systems

Will be required to write or assist in developing test plans and test procedures

Will be required to assist in the automation of relevant test procedures and/or design and development of test fixtures

Will be required to assist in lab and field tests of electronic systems

US Citizenship only

B.S.E.E. degree from an accredited university or equivalent; and 3+ years related experience and/or training

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Ability to communicate in English

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations

Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis

Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus and modern algebra
