Responsibilities

Act as SME for cloud platforms, security operations, and related tools

Establish best practices and standardization across multi-cloud environments

Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure to support strategic goals

Drive automation initiatives and recommend emerging technologies for efficiency and scalability

Implement and maintain cloud security controls, monitoring, and compliance frameworks

Collaborate with InfoSec teams to ensure adherence to HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards

Develop methodologies and processes for cloud deployment, monitoring, and incident response

Serve as Level 3 escalation for complex cloud and security-related issues

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Manage relationships with cloud service providers and security vendors

Assess risks and provide mitigation strategies for cloud infrastructure

Lead migration strategies to modern cloud architectures

Ensure seamless integration of acquired entities into standardized cloud environments

Monitor cloud resource performance, including OS and application layers

Recommend improvements for reliability, scalability, and cost optimization

Participate in evaluation and selection of cloud technologies and security tools

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and procurement for cloud services

Maintain detailed documentation for cloud configurations, security policies, and operational procedures

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years in healthcare IT with a focus on Cloud Infrastructure in multi-facility environments

1–2 years in Cloud Security Operations, including compliance and risk management

Familiarity with DevOps tools, automation, and scripting (1–2 years)

Intermediate programming and scripting for automation

Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), operating systems, and relational databases

Ability to convey complex technical concepts to leadership and stakeholders

Skilled in analyzing complex issues and managing multiple cloud-related projects
