Adv Lead Engineer - LEAP HPC Mechanical Design

Responsibilities

Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis, design, test, or integration required to design and support engine components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and LEAP product / program requirements
Develop in-depth knowledge in turbomachinery while using prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute in consistency with engineering policies and procedures
Use interpersonal skills to collaborate with peers and provide direction and mentoring to new team members
Document and communicate results of technical data generated
Prepare and present technical data to support internal and external customers; participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Share engineering information, promote open dialogue, and provide timely communications on significant issues or developments

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
At least 3 additional years of experience in an engineering design position

Familiarity with design, test and analysis tools and systems

Strong oral, written, interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to lead initiative of moderate scope and impact
Established project management skills and ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
