Volunteer Training Manager
AARP Foundation works for and with vulnerable people over 50 to end senior poverty and reduce financial hardship. The Volunteer Training Manager is responsible for designing and delivering training and educational materials for volunteer programs, conducting needs analyses, and collaborating with leadership to streamline processes and develop new procedures.

Responsibilities
Identifies learner information gaps based on feedback and modifies courses and/or implements new course requirements to address gaps and inconsistencies
Manages project plans and projects with key stakeholders, user groups, and vendor(s), where applicable for course updates and creation of learning content
Creates, tests, and communicates new site process and procedures for learners and site administrators
Conducts weekly meetings with platform organization on site functionality, reporting, and project status
Collaborates with technical teams on site integrations
Ensures course descriptions and site graphics are up-to-date to address and assess the educational needs and requirements of external and internal users
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years' experience in learning content management, training coordination, instructional support, or a related field
Demonstrated expertise in conducting needs/gap analysis and incorporating learner feedback to recommend and implement improvements in learning content or processes
Hands-on experience administering LMS platforms, including course design, system updates, troubleshooting, and end‑user support
Proven experience designing and delivering both asynchronous and synchronous learning, with the ability to lead and facilitate training sessions
Demonstrated project management capability, including coordinating with stakeholders, user groups, and vendors to deliver new content and system enhancements
Experience developing, testing, and communicating new processes and procedures for learners, administrators, or technical teams
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to partner effectively with technical teams while maintaining accurate course content and site materials
Experience providing network program support
Regular and reliable job attendance
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Exhibit respect and understanding of others to maintain professional relationships
Independent judgement in evaluation options to make sound decisions
In office/open office environment with the ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate noise
