Develop and maintain 3D models and assemblies in Solid Edge for streetcars, locomotives, mining equipment and other products
Manage top-level assembly models for custom projects
Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project teams through full product lifecycle
Work directly with customers on custom design requirements and modifications
Establish and improve modeling standards across product lines
Support manufacturing floor with design clarifications and modifications
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Proficiency in Solid Edge or similar software with willingness to learn
Understanding of mechanical design principles and assembly function
Effective and professional communication skills for customer and cross-functional coordination
3 to 5 years of relevant experience desired
