They are seeking a Manager for Retirement Plans ERISA Compliance who will serve as a primary liaison for ERISA Compliance testing and reporting, ensuring adherence to IRS and DOL regulations while leading initiatives to improve processes and training.

Responsibilities

Form 5500 and Form 8955-SSA within the statutory timelines established by the code

Function as a primary liaison with ERISA Consulting, external clients and Relationship Managers for more complex ERISA Compliance testing issues

Preparing Defined Benefit 5500s and 8955-SSAs plus experience working with complex pension benefit calculations. Effective experience leading large change management initiatives

Partnering closely with Relationship Management and actuarial teams to assist with higher level client issues and to assist with external auditor requests

Serving as direct contact with plan sponsors and their external auditors to add value and retain clients

Leading efforts to improve, develop, implement training programs and procedures

Serving as a resource for less experienced staff and complete peer review of assigned work

Taking on additional project leadership responsibilities

Required

4-7 years in the qualified retirement plan industry, with significant direct experience in providing ERISA Compliance testing and reporting services

Thorough knowledge of the IRS & DOL Code and Regulations including experience with pension plans

Excellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, high comfort level with Microsoft Excel, and ability to meet stringent deadlines
