Human Resources Manager
InfoMart is a company that has been revolutionizing the global background and identity screening industry for over 30 years. They are seeking an HR Manager to oversee all general areas of human resources, including recruiting, payroll, employee relations, and performance management. The HR Manager will implement the organization's human resources strategy to attract, manage, develop, and retain employees.
Responsibilities
Oversee and process bi-weekly payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including wage adjustments, deductions, and time-off tracking
Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, retirement, leave policies, etc.)
Serve as the primary liaison between employees and benefit providers
Manage annual benefits enrollment and ensure timely communication to employees
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions and recruitment strategies
Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and offer letters
Oversee a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation, training schedules, and introduction to company culture
Build and maintain relationships with external recruiters, job boards, and community partners to support talent acquisition
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, and workplace issues
Investigate and resolve employee complaints, grievances, or policy violations in a fair and consistent manner
Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and collaboration
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations matters
Manage the performance review process, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization
Coach managers on goal setting, feedback delivery, and employee development
Partner with leadership to identify training needs and implement development programs
Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.)
Maintain employee files and HRIS records with confidentiality and accuracy
Prepare and analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decision making
Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
3+ years of human resources experience required or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Experience with full-cycle recruiting and onboarding
Preferred
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
Knowledge of HR systems and databases, NetSuite preferred
