Responsibilities
Lead and manage the month-end close for assigned divisions, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Analyze divisional financial statements and partner with division leadership to support data-driven decision-making
Prepare and/or review journal entries, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations; research and resolve variances
Monitor payroll, revenue, expenses, and cash flow; prepare ad hoc reporting as needed
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including billing, collections, and cash application
Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
Manage internal and external audit requests
Prepare sales/use and property tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Prior people management experience
Strong understanding of US GAAP
Construction accounting experience, including percentage-of-completion
Advanced analytical skills
Advanced Excel proficiency
Preferred
