Responsibilities
Provide support to corporate, securities, and mergers & acquisitions practice
Work on a wide variety of transactions for emerging and established companies, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and governance, equity financings, and general corporate matters
Join Kutak Rock’s well-established Denver corporate practice, work closely with senior partners and associates, and assume significant drafting experience, deal responsibility, and client contact
Qualification
Required
Strong drafting and negotiating experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong strategic and analytical mindset
Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver timely quality work product
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to work in a team environment with the desire and ability to manage some components of transactions or deals independently
Commitment to interacting directly with and achieving the goals of firm clients
Admitted to practice in Colorado with an active bar license in good standing or eligible for admission within one year required
2+ years of experience involving corporate transactions, equity financings, corporate formation, corporate counsel, commercial transactions required
Preferred
Tax experience or background a plus
Additional experience in any of the following areas: securities, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, partnerships/LLCs, commercial transactions, succession planning, business planning, SAFEs, start up or emerging company experience preferred
Candidates with excellent law school academic credentials preferred
