Responsibilities
Serve as the operational expert for Microsoft 365 tenant services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online, focusing on service health, adoption, and performance
Active role in Power Platform Governance – utilize COE Toolkit for monitoring and maintaining Power Platform Environments from an Administrative perspective
Support Purview controls including Information Protection (sensitivity labels), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Data Lifecycle Management (retention labels/policies); review and respond to DLP alerts and compliance reports
Troubleshoot complex and unusual technical issues across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Office 365 Desktop Apps
Work directly with Microsoft Support to diagnose and resolve escalated problems
Perform day-to-day platform support—responding to incidents, investigating root causes, and ensuring service stability
Implement minor improvements, configuration updates, and optimizations within M365 to enhance performance and user experience
Implement and tune Defender for Office 365 (EOP, Safe Links, Safe Attachments)
Qualification
Required
MS-102 Certified – Microsoft 365 Administrator
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator
Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 fundamentals with hands on administration across SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and related services, including tenant configuration and service health
Strong hands-on experience supporting SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, and related M365 services
Proven experience working with Microsoft Support to resolve complex technical issues
Exceptional communication skills, critical thinking, and follow-through—must be able to own issues end-to-end
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining collaboration with distributed teams
Preferred
Experience with Copilot and Power Platform is required
Background in Managed Service Provider (MSP) or cloud hosting environments (e.g., Rackspace) is highly desirable
