Office Administrative Associate and Scheduler | Home Care

Visiting Angels, a leader in senior home care, is seeking an Office Administrator/Assistant Scheduler to work full-time at their Lawrenceville office. The role involves assisting with caregiver scheduling, ensuring compliance with employee and client documentation, and performing various office administration and HR duties.

Responsibilities

Assist in scheduling the shifts of caregivers who visit our home care clients
Communicate and reinforce Visiting Angels’ policies and procedures with both new hires as well as existing employees
Perform a variety of office admin/HR duties including answering phones, following up for required documents, filing, employment verifications, on call log maintenance, background checks, client/employee data entry, etc
Use cloud-based software to file documents and record all communication with clients and caregivers
Speak on the telephone in a professional and friendly manner
Assist in onboarding of new employees, ensuring all new-hire documents are complete and in order
Assist in ensuring ongoing client and employee documents are complete and in order, as per accreditation requirements
Maintain confidentiality
Perform other functions as deemed appropriate by management

Required

Extremely comfortable and adept using a computer; Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.)
Must have excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills required
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person
Previous experience in scheduling, onboarding, compliance, and/or human resources is a plus
Ability to work on multiple activities and tasks concurrently
Ability to see the big picture and solve issues accordingly
Independent self-starter
Ability to remain flexible and calm

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum associate's degree or 1-3 years or related office experience
Experience working in homecare or healthcare industry preferred
