Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Host/Hostess to greet restaurant guests with a positive attitude and ensure they have a favorable dining experience. The role involves seating guests, assisting staff, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the restaurant area.

Responsibilities

Greeting/welcoming and seating guests

Assign wait staff to service guests in their sections

Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants

Assisting wait/bar staff

Responsible for assisting with bussing and resetting tables

Responsible for cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant

Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers

Qualification

Customer service experienceFluent in EnglishCommunication skillsTeam playerPositive attitude

Required

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required

Experience: Customer service experience dealing directly with customers

Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license

Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift

Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs

Ability to bend, stoop and reach, while assisting guests

Use of stairs and elevators

Upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude

Able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner

Flexible schedule

Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions
