Responsibilities
Leading monthly and annual close processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP
Managing accounts payable and receivable, including oversight of restricted funds and fiscally sponsored projects
Developing, monitoring, and forecasting annual budgets in partnership with leadership and department leads
Preparing financial reports, dashboards, and analyses for executive leadership and Board committees
Overseeing audits, tax filings (including Form 990), and maintaining strong internal controls
Managing banking relationships, cash flow, and financial systems, including QuickBooks Online
Training and supporting staff on budgeting and financial management best practices
Presentations for board
Qualification
Required
Experience in financial management and reporting
Knowledge of GAAP
Experience with accounts payable and receivable management
Ability to develop, monitor, and forecast annual budgets
Experience in preparing financial reports and analyses
Knowledge of audits and tax filings, including Form 990
Strong understanding of internal controls
Experience managing banking relationships and cash flow
Proficiency in financial systems, including QuickBooks Online
Ability to train and support staff on budgeting and financial management best practices
Experience in making presentations for board meetings
