Checking in and registering patient

Follow up with BWC providers, check insurances, complete insurance prior authorizations

Patient scheduling over the phone and in person

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Proven experience in a customer service or patient-facing role

Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of insurance processes

Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, problem solve and handle multiple tasks efficiently

Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred

Additional education or training in healthcare administration

Recent rehab or hospital experience
