Fidelity Investments is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about cutting edge technologies, frameworks, and design patterns. You will be joining a team of engineers focused on engineering testing solutions for the Fidelity Insurance Agency (FIA) product area.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Fidelity investments software solutions
Support your team in adopting best practices to ensure we are building the right product and we are building it right
Designing and implementing robust QA strategies and test frameworks for API, Web with deep expertise in end-to-end validation
Test automation (Playwright/Cypress, Rest Assured, JUnit, Test NG, Maven)
DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins Core, LWC, Monorepo, etc.)
Source control (GitHub, Stash (Bitbucket), Sourcetree)
Focus on the deployment automation and orchestration
Assist with code branches, merges, builds pipelines, manage versioning etc
Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper software engineering and bug prevention strategies, testability and security
Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintain application features and automated tests including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests
Collaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production health
Write SQL queries and implementing the data seeding for automation

Required

10 + years experience with a Bachelor's or 6 + years experience with a Master's degree in Computer Science (or closely related field)
Experience in designing and implementing robust QA strategies and test frameworks for API, Web with deep expertise in end-to-end validation
Experience in test automation (Playwright/Cypress, Rest Assured, JUnit, Test NG, Maven)
Experience with DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins Core, LWC, Monorepo, etc.)
Experience with source control (GitHub, Stash (Bitbucket), Sourcetree)
Minimum 6 years of experience with architecting automation test platforms
Minimum 6 years of experience with architecting and implementing development pipelines (CI / CD)
Good understanding of accessibility features and building and testing accessible experiences on Web
Focus on the deployment automation and orchestration
Assist with code branches, merges, builds pipelines, manage versioning etc

Cloud experience preferred - Amazon Web Services (AWS)
