Production Coordinator

The Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily manufacturing operations, including planning and scheduling production activities while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

Verify daily schedules with Project Managers
Provide daily production reports to team members
Print and distribute daily schedules and travelers
Prepare and review weekly production schedules with Plant Managers
Manage foam scheduling, milling, and coating processes
Review production drawings and configurations
Confirm dispatch board information for upcoming loads
Update widget schedules and dispatch boards as needed
Coordinate core machine scheduling
Complete weekly safety observations
Maintain service level agreements and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Drive improvements in process clarity and measurement
Collaborate with corporate functions to implement policy changes
Work with data owners to address process and data issues
Respond to inquiries and follow up on escalations
Determine how to operationalize processes in alignment with strategic vision
Utilize knowledge of manufacturing operations to drive consistency
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Maintain a positive attitude, energy, and professionalism

Required

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Some occasional lifting required no more than 50lbs
On-site at a manufacturing plant using computer, office equipment and phone
Must be able to remain standing and moving 50-75% of the time
May require occasional overtime work to meet production deadlines
Bachelor's or associate degree
2-4 years of experience in scheduling precast parts
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Proficient computer skills, including Google and MS Office
Professionalism, dependability, commitment, and integrity
Ability to multitask and complete assignments within deadlines
Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail

Preferred

Bachelor's or associate degree with precast business experience
Knowledge of production planning and scheduling software
