Strong foundation in highway design principles and concepts

Understanding of roadway geometrics and roadside safety design

Experience with TxDOT design standards and plans preparation procedures

MicroStation/Geopak, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), 3D Modeling production skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of TxDOT Roadway Design Manual (RDM), Texas MUTCD, Standard Plans, Specifications & AASHTO Greenbook criteria
