Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order within the location
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any irregularities
Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel
Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors within a tech, media, or telecom environment
Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal procedures
Support emergency response efforts, including evacuation and/or lockdown procedures as required by site protocols
Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and help to deter unwanted activity within the location
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
CPR certification is preferred
A guard card or license is preferred
