Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

Manage supplier interface and relationships in conjunction with corporate sourcing
Manage inquiries and develop solutions to supply issues and problems
Negotiate contracts for engineering, construction, and procurement services, including terms and conditions with both continuous use and occasional use contractors
Manage and build relationships with internal partners
Execute supplier selection process, including participate/lead in Request for Quotation processes
Bid and negotiate pricing for services, maintenance, and construction
Bring creative tension in terms of driving opportunities for the site to save money by using external resources
Represent the Procurement organization in site project teams and cost savings initiatives
Develop cross-organizational relationships to enable collaboration opportunities
Manage purchase orders from requisition through receipt of material or service
Balance operational risk with supply/commercial strategies. Source based on Total Cost of Ownership
Gather and communicate market, supplier, and competitor intelligence

Qualification

Procurement experienceNegotiation skillsSAP ERPSupply chain knowledgeBachelor's degree

Required

Bachelor's degree required
At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing company in a commercial or operational role preferred
Procurement experience in a manufacturing organization preferred
SAP ERP experience desirable
Experience in negotiating with vendors and developing service contracts preferred

Preferred

Concentration in procurement, supply chain, logistics, engineering, accounting, or finance preferred
