Senior Product Manager, Retrieval Engine Platform

Responsibilities
Lead PRDs by collaborating with partner teams (e.g., engineers, PgMs, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn PRDs into OKRs for multiple teams
Gain a deep understanding of how Google's retrieval infrastructure works, its capabilities, and future directions
Understand the goals of our clients (e.g., web search, YouTube, lens, assistant, image search, Cloud, etc.)
Create and drive the product vision for your area, that anticipates what our clients and Google users are going to need
Manage client relationships including business reviews, joint OKRs, and shared success metrics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in product management or related technical role
3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.)
2 years of experience with data processing, systems infrastructure, or distributed systems
Preferred
Master's degree in a technology or business related field
5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders
5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting)
3 years of experience in software development or engineering
Product management or design experience with a focus on software products and technologies
Experience with product vision and roadmapping for infrastructure and platform products
