Responsibilities
Be a leader in delivering our traffic engineering services - specifically focused on the municipal market
Business development: pursue new / further develop existing client relationships, focusing on innovative ideas and trends
Develop action plans to identify potential opportunities and track progress
Research and implement emerging technologies to offer value added services to your clients
Find ways to incorporate sustainable practices to your clients
Manage internal and external client relationships
Actively participate in the preparation of proposals
Managing traffic projects and traffic elements of larger project and ensure quality of products and conformance to budget
Prepare and/or review traffic design plans for various projects
Conduct and/or oversee traffic modeling and analysis for studies
Prepare memorandums and reports for traffic studies and research
Present technical reports at conferences and agency meetings
Supervise the work of other engineers and technicians
Review work for accuracy and coordinate with others functional groups to ensure quality assurance and quality control for all final products
Development and evaluation of design alternatives and design plans to maintain traffic during construction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience with traffic engineering and related design packages, preferably serving the municipal market
Ability to work 40 hours a week
Ability to work in the posted locations
Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
