Responsibilities
Prepares a wide variety of detailed drawings for the shelter and Electrical design and is responsible for their accuracy
Breaks down information obtained from the bid letter, customer specification, and customer supplied drawings to do shelter design
Makes a variety of calculations (AC service, HVAC, energy, and structural) following standard procedures
Prepare work orders (detailed BOM) while drawings are in progress
Renders technical assistance to factory personnel, sales staff or customers as needed
Possible travel as needed
Performs other assigned duties as required by department manager
Qualification
Required
Four (4) years Electrical Engineering degree or at least 3 years on the job education
Electrical Engineering/Designing experience
Experience Certificates, Licenses or Registrations
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Computer programs: Windows, Word, Excel, and the latest release of AutoCAD/Revit
Knowledge of algebra and geometry and mathematical formulas
Technical ability in the Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical fields
Design: 3 years (Required)
Electrical: 3 years (Required)
